Sounds like I need to get with the times and do a vacation!
Mary Ellen already said the books I have read "about" I am getting my kindle today and those are on the list of books I wish for...YAY! kindle...they should give you a commission, it was your thoughts on your kindle that tipped the scales for me buying one. (That and I got my income tax return!)
I agree with June Freaking Cleaver. Let's just get rid of them all. I have enough to worry about in my own life, I don't need to know who's with who and who broke up with who. Or is it whom?
Hip hip Hooray for the crock pot. Nothing better than coming home to a great smelling dinner.claudiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16572555442321120647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6558974237424652464.post-5538607751361915612010-02-17T13:40:28.571-05:002010-02-17T13:40:28.571-05:00Let's eliminate all Brad, Angelina AND Jennife...Let's eliminate all Brad, Angelina AND Jennifer Aniston magazine covers...they even had one recently - 'Jen: Five Years After Brad' - for goodness' sakes, she should be over him after that long!

Why do folks wanna read about them?Kim Lehnhoffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02516002280882854450noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6558974237424652464.post-72650187820557015172010-02-17T12:57:50.552-05:002010-02-17T12:57:50.552-05:00Crock Pot is the best invention ever!Crock Pot is the best invention ever!Adoption of Janehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13714698687682760800noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6558974237424652464.post-39296475831799887612010-02-17T10:50:14.041-05:002010-02-17T10:50:14.041-05:00I read the book, "The Notebook" then pas...I read the book, "The Notebook" then passed it along to both my daughters for them to read...then the three of us went to see the movie...we laughed through the entire film. Not anywhere near as good as the book. What added to our chuckling was listening to the sniffles of those who obviously had not read the book...which I did sniffle through!

I too am boycotting all that has to do w/Brangelina. Tired of them. It's that simple.

Love. My. Kindle! especially love free books!

Warm wishes to Hallie as she turns 40! Turning 30 was traumatizing-my oldest daughter was 11 (full blown pre-teen) and I knew I was no longer a 'young mother'. Loved turning 40-celebrated with a huge party with all girls dressed in black with me, while I wore a long black gown and a shroud-loved it. 50 was just another decade...I look at it as my half-way mark...great memories behind me, and so many great new memories before me!
Life is good!
~AMAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10433907044785046226noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6558974237424652464.post-20596930956003034452010-02-17T10:48:07.040-05:002010-02-17T10:48:07.040-05:00I left you some sunshine on my blog....go check it...I left you some sunshine on my blog....go check it out.Melissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11862859593554570480noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6558974237424652464.post-66740873460301285442010-02-17T08:57:34.933-05:002010-02-17T08:57:34.933-05:00I have never made a vacation notebook. Totally different than what I usually read, but I was transfixed.

A series by Larsson (I've forgotten his first name): The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Girl who Played with Fire, and (I think) The Girl who Kicked the Hornet's Nest. I haven't finished them all, but the first one was awesome, and the second one is shaping up to be good, too.

This one is on my list to read, and I've heard wonderful things about it: A Reliable Wife by Robert Goolrick.

Alex just read The Hunger Games, which may be a series, and thought it was terrific. Brandon is reading it now, and then it will be my turn.

Of course there are new James Pattersons to read: I, Alex Cross and Worst Case...and Stuart Woods always makes for fun vacation reading.

Let's get together - and while you're at it, let me know what you're reading so I can put it on my list!Mary Ellenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14416798580398814009noreply@blogger.com
